We often challenge the boundaries of existing design practice or materials usage. As such we not only use established solutions and work to recognised design codes, but often are required to develop new procedures or radical approaches to resolve design problems. We research new subjects and use external sub-consultants where appropriate and to supplement our existing competencies.
Computer literacy is
paramount in today’s marketplace, and we take full advantage of the technology for office tasks. CAD is used extensively for precision, but we still acknowledge the practical benefits
of pencil & paper and physical modelling, especially at the early stages of design.
We develop in-house software and make widespread use of spread- sheets to efficiently manage repetitive tasks and calculations as required. This extends to
developing custom design aids for Clients.
